Dean Allen Sharpless
Dean Allen Sharpless, 32, of Sandy Ridge, PA died Friday, September 5, 2014 at his home.
Born on May 10, 1982 in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of Max A. Sharpless of Philipsburg & Rita (Cowfer) Coleman & Michael Coleman of Osceola Mills, PA.
Mr. Sharpless was of Christian Faith. He was the Governor of the LOOMoose #154 of Osceola Mills PA, member of the Columbia Fire Company of Osceola Mills,PA, Mountain Top Fire Company of Sandy Ridge, PA and Captain of the Osceola Mills Fire Police. He worked for Burgmeiers Hauling in Altoona, PA and was a graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Chester Cowfer, Jr.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sharpless is survived by: two brothers, Douglas R. Sharpless & his wive Michelle of Clearfield, PA and Daniel L. Sharpless & his fiancee Chelesa of Morrisdale, PA; grandparents, Dolores Cowfer of Osceola Mills, PA, C. Dean Sharpless and Lois Sharpless of Philipsburg, PA; three nieces, Maddison, Raeliegh & Raleigh; a nephew, Lucas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA, with Rev. Lee Cowfer officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
