Russell E. Bush, 71, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center of State College, PA.
Born on July 26, 1953, in Philipsburg, PA, Russell was the son of the late Arthur Bush & Eva (Coudriet) Bush.
He was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church. Russell was also a Life Member of the Columbia Fire Company in Osceola Mills, PA and of the Pennsylvania Central District Volunteer Fireman’s Association. He was a member of the St. Anthony’s Society in Osceola Mills.
Russell retired in the Janitorial Service at the State College Presbyterian Church. He had worked at the Charles Navasky & Co in Philipsburg, PA. He had also worked for many years at the Osceola Mills Brickyard until it closed.
Russell was a 1971 graduate from the P.O. High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Russell is survived by three sons, Robert Bush of West Decatur, PA, Aaron Bush of West Decatur, PA, and Benjamin Bush & his wife Beth of Osceola Mills, PA; a brother, Gerald A. Bush & his wife Beverly of Osceola Mills, PA; two grandchildren, Serenity Bush and Bella Bush; a niece, Melissa Cortezzo & her husband Jason; and a nephew, David Bush.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC at 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA. Pastor Donald Smith will officiate.
Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be Monday, April 14 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to funeral time at the funeral home.
