Russ I have so many memories of doing things with you. Staying at carnivals while you tossed nickels and won so much stuff. I’m so thankful that God allowed us to visit in the summer of 2023. I will miss you. Love you so much. Elaine

There are simply no words to describe the amount of dedication Russell had for his community. His legacy will live on forever by those who knew him. Russell we cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work and dedication to our organization. Our town truly lost a great man. We hope Russell’s spirit is with us all during this upcoming 4th of July, and for the Firemen’s Convention. Those are the things he lived for. We will remember him forever.
Rest in Peace Russell, and thank you for your service. Watch over all of us.

Last week Osceola Mills lost a dear friend. Russell will be greatly missed by many. I had the privilege of working with Russell on various projects and fund raisers. Russel was always helpful and generous. He did so much for our community; he loved our community. We have Russell to thank for all those years that we had the 4th of July parade and we all gathered for picnics and fun. Organizing a parade is a lot of work. Thank you Russell for all you did for us.

Baseball, basketball, Fireman’s convention’s, parades and all the concession stands pumping team, church and can’t forget the brickyard. I have so many memories of my friend. We sure had some wild and crazy times. I’m going to miss you (Willis). The trials of this are over. Fly high. Old friend. My condolences to all of Russell’s family.
