So very sorry for your loss. I did not even know his formal name but met him at the kwik fill where I fuel up. I saw his picture with the obituaries last night and knew the face . Always such a pleasure to be greeted with his cheerful smile and words. I will miss him as I’m sure will many others whose lives he touched with his presence. Heartfelt sympathy to your family.
Mayor Ida Reams and family
Thoughts and prayers with your family, deeply sorry for their loss. I will cherish the fond memories. Piney used to give me chocolate milk when I was a very small child and would walk up the tracks in Sandy Ridge to the store. He allowed both my boys to shoot the groundhogs out of his moms backyard where the garden was. He and my husband Ron would often chat about what vehicles they were working on. RIP Piney, you will be missed by many.

Piney was a good friend and neighbor to me for over thirty years. He and Brian spent many night over in my garage with my son Clinton working a stock car. I will really miss seeing him on that mower cutting his grass and seeing the kitchen light on at night. May he R.I.P.
