James A. Wigfield, Jr.
James A. Wigfield, Jr., 78, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at his home.
He was the son of the late James A. Wigfield, Sr. & Eliza (Stacey) Wigfield, born on May 11, 1935 in Osceola Mills, PA. He married Shelvey G. (Krause) Wigfield on May 5, 1955 in Osceola Mills, PA; she preceded him in death on June 13, 2006.
Mr. Wigfield was a member of the Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Philipsburg, PA. He was a retired Maintenance Superintendent for Associated Drilling of Osceola Mills, PA, and was a 1953 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
Mr. Wigfield is survived by: four sons, James A. Wigfield, III & his wife Judy of Fall Creek, PA, Gregory A. Wigfield & his wife Sally of Emporium, PA, David W. Wigfield & his wife Sandy of State College, PA, and Kevin S. Wigfield & his wife Jennifer of Morrison, CO; eight grandchildren, Nathan Wigfield & his wife Bethany, Nicole Weaver & her husband Andrew, Tyler Wigfield, Kyle Wigfield, Courtney Wigfield, David Wigfield & his wife Latoya, Phillip Wigfield, and Bethany Wigfield; and one great-grandchild, Audrey Wigfield.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Philipsburg, PA; with Rev. W. Dean Krause officiating. Burial will be at the Centre Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the church.
