Eleanor J. Weston
Eleanor J. Weston, 91 of Philipsburg, PA, formerly of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Cedarwood Rehab & Healthcare Center in Tyrone, PA.
Born on June 16, 1934 in Philipsburg, PA, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Graham & Eleanor (Johnson) Mayes. She married James E. Weston on September 11, 1952 in Philipsburg, PA. He preceded her in death on August 7, 2017.
Eleanor was a member of the Osceola Mills Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of Presbyterian Women as well as the Christian Woman’s Club in Philipsburg, PA.
She was a bookkeeper for her husbands former business, “Jim’s Rock Shop.”
Eleanor was a 1952 graduate from the former Philipsburg High School.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Mayes and Edith Case; and four brothers, George Mayes, Corp Gordon Mayes, Walter Mayes, and William Mayes.
Eleanor is survived by a daughter, Pegge Johns & her husband, Robert of Apex, NC; a son, Timothy Weston & his wife, Ann of Williamsport, PA; six grandchildren: Eric Weston, Whitney Shaw & her husband Matt, Michael Johns & his wife Claire, Justin Johns & his wife Jamie, Keelee Johns, and Emily Johns; and ten great-grandchildren: Marshall Weston, Luci Weston, Nolan Johns, Otis Johns, Arden Johns, Leah Shaw, Oliver Shaw, Ronald Johns, Nelly Johns, and Jovan Johns.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Osceola Mills Presbyterian Church. Pastor William Conway will officiate.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the church.
Interment will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
