David Lee Weitoish, Sr.
David Lee Weitoish, Sr., 59 of Sandy Ridge, PA, formerly of Clearfield, PA passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at the home of his brother in Sandy Ridge, PA.
Born on December 8, 1952 in Philipsburg, PA. He was the son of the late Frank Weitoish, Sr. and Mary I (Emigh) Weitoish.
Mr. Weitoish was of the Catholic Faith. He was a member of the Marine Corps and National Guard Veteran of the Vietnam War. Additionally, he was a member of the VFW Post #5020 in Osceola Mills, PA, Amvets Post 159 in Philipsburg, PA and the American Legion Post 437 in Philipsburg, PA.
He was a retired Plumber for Kimmen Plumbing and Heating in Altoona, PA.
Mr. Weitoish is survived by three sons, Ronald L. Weitoish of Sandy Ridge, PA, Donald L. Weitoish and his wife Krista of Osceola Mills, PA and David L. Weitoish, Jr. of York, PA; three sisters, Lisa L. Guenot and her husband Greg of West Decatur, PA, Jennifer M. Weitoish of Winburne, PA, and Barbara A. Kephart and her husband Barry of Sandy Ridge, PA; four brothers Frank Weitoish, Jr. and his wife Kristina of Reinholds, PA, Leroy Weitoish and his wife Susan of Morrisdale, PA, James Weitoish Sr., and his companion Wendy (Smith) Lanich of Sandy Ridge, and John Weitoish, Sr. and his wife Antoinette of Elizabeth, NJ; seven Grandchildren; two Great-Grandchildren; fifteen Nieces and Nephews; and eight Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA, with Deacon Dennis J. Socash officiating. Burial will be at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Kylertown, PA.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard on Thursday at the funeral home.
