Jennifer Lee Wawrynovic
Jennifer Lee Wawrynovic, 71, of Philipsburg, PA, died on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at her home.
Born on March 18, 1954 in Brunswick, GA, she was the daughter of the late George & Dorothy (Nelson) Domblisky. She married Paul B. Wawrynovic on March 9, 1991 in Philipsburg, PA; he survives at home.
Jennifer was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Philipsburg, PA.
She was a Paraprofessional and Teacher’s Aide for Philipsburg-Osceola Area School District. And she was a 1972 graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola High School.
Jennifer found joy in the simple pleasures and the meaningful moments, camping at Black Moshannon and in Gettysburg with friends and family, tending to her shade garden, and spending summer days on the beaches of Brigantine with family and close friends. Vacations were more than just a getaway; they were cherished traditions, full of laughter, love and lasting memories.
She loved to celebrate life, whether it was a birthday, a holiday, or a spontaneous Sunday dinner. Her home was a place of warmth and gathering, where parents, in-laws, and extended family came together around lovingly prepared meals.
As a devoted mother, she encouraged her children to step outside their comfort zones. From swimming lessons to trying new sports like soccer, baseball, softball, snowboarding, and skiing, she guided them through the challenges of high school and college with patience, strength, and unwavering support.
Her love for travel carried her across the globe. As an agent for the Centre for Travel Agency, she explored the beauty of Europe; countries like Ireland, France, Greece and Italy; as well as island gems scattered throughout the Caribbean. Each destination was a new adventure, each journey a treasured chapter in a life full of curiosity, courage, and connection.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Audrey Jean Wawrynovic of Philipsburg, PA; a son Ethan Carroll Wawrynovic & his wife Kelly of Osceola Mills, PA; and three sisters, Barbara Jean Gray of Morrisdale, PA, Laurie Lynn Oncea of Winburn, PA, and Krista Ann Shaw & her husband Mark of Philipsburg, PA.
