Edward A. Troy, 79, of Clearfield PA, died on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Ctr. in Clearfield, PA.
Born on July 20, 1945 in Clearfield, PA, Edward was the son of the late Calvin A. Troy, Jr. & Evelyn A. (Bloom) Troy.
Edward was United Methodist by faith. He had worked at the former Viceroy Clothing Co. in Osceola Mills, PA.
In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Bennett.
Edward is survived by three sisters, Linda L. Mabie & her husband Robert Sr. of Clearfield, PA, Hazel Woods of Philipsburg, PA, and Ruth Beightol of Philipsburg, PA; two brothers, William A. Troy Sr. of Clearfield, PA, and Robert A. Troy of Philipsburg, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Edward’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Burial will be at Historic Crown Crest Cemetery-Hyde
