Emma L. Suhoney
Emma L. Suhoney, 23, of Industry, (Pa), and formerly of Philipsburg, died Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Emma was born on October 8, 1999, in Sunbury, a daughter of Jamie L. and Teri Jo (Jordan) Suhoney who survive at home.
Emma was a graduate of Western Beaver High School, Industry. She also attended Project SEARCH at UPMC Jameson, New Castle.
Emma was employed in the dietary department at Rochester Manor + Villa, Rochester, (Pa). She was recognized as Rochester Manor + Villa’s first Legacy Employee. She was the employee of our lifetimes, the embodiment of hard work, positivity and spreading light and love everywhere she went. A plaque will be placed in her honor at the facility to remain as a permanent tribute to her memory.
Emma was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Sandy Ridge. She was also a member of the Corps Cadets program and a Senior Soldier with the Salvation Army.
Emma is survived by her parents, Jamie and Teri Jo; four sisters: Amber Dubey, of Aliquippa, and Leanne, Annabelle and Faith Suhoney, all of Industry; five brothers: Jimmy Stankunas, of Philadelphia, Christopher Suhoney, of Industry, Jaece Dubey, of Aliquippa, Liam Dubey, of Aliquippa and Jeremiah Suhoney, of Industry; four grandparents: Melinda Fleck, of Osceola Mills; Terry “Butch” Jordan, of Clearfield, James Stankunas, of Shamokin and John Suhoney, Sr., of Tyrone; and numerous other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Nathaniel Logan; two grandmothers, Virginia “Sis” Jordan and Patricia Stankunas; an uncle, John Suhoney, Jr. and a cousin, Dustin Parkes.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11am, with Rev. Randy Hughes, officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm; and on Saturday from 10 am until the time of the funeral service.
Interment will be in Umbria Cemetery, Osceola Mills.
Immediately following the interment service, there will be a luncheon at the Gearhartville Sportsmen’s Club, 36 Blue Spruce Rd., Philipsburg.
