Mary Lou Socash
Mary Lou Socash, 80, of Grampian, PA, formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died on Monday, May 26, 2025 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born on November 7, 1044 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roland Hendershot & Margaret Anne (Showers) Hendershot. She married Frederick J. Socash, Sr. on May 28, 1961 in Osceola Mills, PA. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1996.
Mary was of the Christian Faith.
She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Sewell; two sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by four daughters, Kimberly Kaye Hudak of Houtzdale, PA, Tracy L. Mulhall of Kylertown, PA, Dawn M. Socash of Houtzdale, PA, and Tammy Jo Socash of Grampian, PA; four sons, Frederick John Socash Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA, George R. Socash & his wife Connie of Altoona, PA, Glenn A. Socash of Curwensville, PA, and Shawn T. Socash of Hyde, PA; seventeen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
The funeral will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA 16666.
Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
