Michael Sidorick
Michael Sidorick, 98, of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Heritage Ridge Senior Living at Windy Hill in Philipsburg, PA.
Born on November 21, 1926 in Osceola Mills, PA, he was the son of the late Ignatius & Vera (Nicholas) Sidorick. He married Anna L. Patrick on May 31, 1958 in Osceola Mills, PA; she preceded him in death on December 13, 2006.
Michael was a member of Nativity of Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Osceola Mills, PA; a member of the American Legion; a former member of the Osceola Mills Honor Guard; and a member of VFW Post # 5020.
He was an Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean War.
Michael was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
In addition to his parents and wife, Michael was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Sidorick; six sisters, Marie Natalie, Katherine Hicks, Julia Zech, Ann Sidorick, Tatiana Harris and Alexandra Sidorick; and four brothers, Stephen Sidorick, John Sidorick, Andrew Sidorick and Fred Sidorick.
He is survived by four daughters, Michelle Shoff & her husband John of Osceola Mills, PA, Kyra Hartshorne & her husband Harmon of Philipsburg, PA, Denise Fetters & her husband John of Philipsburg, PA and Deana Sharpless & her husband Timothy of Sandy Ridge, PA; a sister, Barbara Danko & her husband Eugene of Osceola Mills, PA; eight grandchildren, Kayse Shoff, Lindsey Miller & her husband Chris, Joshua Croyle & his wife Lindsey, Adam Croyle & his wife Rachel, Mark Fetters, Jr. & his wife Fernanda, Kaylee Fetters, Lucas Fetters, and Kristie Sharpless; and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2025, at Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Osceola Mills, PA. Archimandrite Jacob Piruta will officiate. Burial will be at Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 10, 2025 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA.
Panikhida will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
