Margaret T. Sharpless
Margaret T. Sharpless, 89, of Sandy Ridge, PA. died Monday, January 26, 2015 at her residence.
Born September 10, 1925 in Morrisdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Ida (Neff) Neff. She married Melvin J. Sharpless on November 19, 1949 in Osceola Mills, PA. He survives at home.
Mrs. Sharpless was Christian by faith and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by: two daughters, Linda S. Tamol & her husband Thomas of Java Center, NY and Kathy Bermel & her husband Kenneth of Lockport, NY; two sons, Larry Sharp & his wife Deborah of Grand Island, NY and Dennis Sharpless of Sandy Ridge, PA; one sister, Betty Smith of Charlotte, NC; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Heath Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA, with Pastor Mark Thumma officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to funeral time at the funeral home.
