Norene C. Sanker
Norene C. Sanker, 84, of Sheffield Village, OH, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at the Ames Family Hospice House in West Lake, OH.
Born on September 23, 1942, in Saint Michale, PA, Norene was the daughter of the late Howard R. Brown, Sr. & Cathryn (Fuge) Brown. She married Gormon C. Sanker on May 11, 1963 in Osceola Mills, PA. Gormon survives at home.
Norene was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Elyria, OH.
She retired from Flat Rock Community Services with MRDD Clients in Flat Rock, OH.
Norene was a 1961 graduate from the P.O. High School.
In addition to her parents, Norene was preceded in death by five sisters, Maxine Murray, Viola Wojtowich, Delores Eckley, Margarette Conklin, and Gladys Davis; and a brother, Howard R. Brown, Jr.
In addition to her husband, Norene is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Snow & her husband Christopher of Elyria, OH, and Carrie Hulec & her husband Scott of Elyria, OH; a son, Kevin Sanker & his wife Jill of Harrisburg, PA; a sister, Judy Reams & her husband Eugene of Osceola Mills, PA; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC at 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA. Rev. Robert Bruinooge will officiate.
Interment will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
