Sharon L. Rubio
Sharon L. Rubio, 64, of DuBois, PA, died on Friday, September 15, 2023 at her home.
Born on June 9, 1959, in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late William J. & Helen G. (Crain) Ballock.
She was of the Christian Faith.
Sharon was a former Secretary at Western Metal Sash. She was a 1977 graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola High School and attended Penn State University.
Sharon loved to travel and some of her favorite places were California, Guam, Boston and Black Moshannon. She had visited twenty-eight states. She was a big supporter of the military and veterans.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Adam Burns.
Sharon is survived by two sons, Nathan A. Burns of Pittsburgh, PA and Aaron A. Rubio of Hayward, CA; two brothers, William J. Ballock & his wife Kirsten of Centre Hall, PA and Brian D. Ballock of Houtzdale, PA; and a granddaughter, Celia Rubio.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
