Leona Teresa Reams
Leona Teresa Reams, 92, of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Colonial Courtyard in Tyrone, PA.
Born in Amsbery, PA on June 17, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Ray H. Wills & Vera M. (Dascanio) Wills. She married Charles Ray Reams on June 2, 1951 in Loretto, PA. Charles preceded Leona in death on February 22, 2022.
Leona was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA, the Rosary Society of the church, and the VFW Post 5020 Aux. of Osceola Mills, PA.
She was a retired Food Administrator for the Philipsburg-Osceola School District. Leona had her GED.
She enjoyed catering, cooking, and bingo.
In addition to her parents and husband, Leona was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Marie Messersmith; and two brothers, John A. Wills and Ray H. Wills.
Leona is survived by a daughter, Beverly Steinig & her husband, Ingo Steinig of Frenchville, PA; a son, Raymond Charles Reams of Osceola Mills, PA; a sister, Joanne Diehl of Holisdayburg, PA; a brother, Francis E. Wills of Cookstown, NJ; six grandchildren, Tammy Anci, Scott Myers, Barry Reams, Chad Reams, Randa Reams, and Craig Peters; sixteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA with Rev. Father Jonathan Schmolt celebrant.
Burial will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Loretto, PA.
