I’m so sad that cancer wouldn’t leave you alone .I’ve been praying for a miracle but it just wasn’t to be. I know I’m a better person for knowing you but it doesn’t seem fair that you were taken away from us at 53 years old.

Lenora we love you like a daughter as you know . We will always have a giant hole in our hearts , You were a force to reckon with. We will forever be grateful that you came into our family .
Juanita
Lenora was no doubt my sister. Much like me she was a very strong and stubborn woman. She did not like asking others for anything. Instead of focusing on her own problems, she always focused on how others were doing and what she could do to help them. She fought hard for what she wanted there wasn’t any stopping her once she made up her mind to do something. She once told me that she asked God to allow her to live long enough to see her children grow up. She was very aware and grateful that He answered her prayer. She left this world knowing that God would watch over them and that they would be ok. My prayer is that God will give them the same strength and determination that He gave her.

RIP my friend. Your pain is finally over and you are at peace. My heart aches for Ronnie her children and grandchildren. I worked with Ida on several PennDOT projects. I first met her at the Clearfield County Vo-Tech when she was teaching Construction Inspection courses. She was so smart, so willing to help her fellow co-workers. Over the years we became friends. I will miss her smile, her texts and her phone calls. I will see you again someday ! Ronnie when you are ready, Me, Brian Hansel and Jimmy Ibberson would very much like to meet up some where and have a beer and share some good memories.

I met Ida many years ago when I covered Osceola Mills Borough for the Progress. I was part time and had no idea what was going on, but between her and the mayor at the time, Mary Barnett, I caught on. Over time we hit it off somehow and would often talk before and after meetings or when we would encounter each other at special events. I remember praying hard for her during her bouts with cancer and celebrating remission. I remember the births of Austin and Emmy and how exciting that was.
I am going to really, really miss hearing from her and chatting. I am going to miss seeing her. But I know that I will see her one day again and what a celebration that will be!
My sympathies to all of her family. I know she loved you all fiercely and would have done anything for you.

Vickie,PATTY, RJ, Jessica
We are so sorry to hear of Ida’s passing, we will not forget how she took time to call RJ, then PATTY to see what she could do to help after the accident. She had enough on her mind with her own health but yet took the time to worry about someone else.
