Darlene J. Peters
Darlene J. Peters, 62, of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Friday, November 28, 2025 at her home.
Born on May 13, 1963, in Philipsburg, PA, Darlene was the daughter of the late Chester A. Cowfer, Jr. & Dolores R. (Penny) Cowfer. She married Gene A. Peters on August 16, 2007 in Kylertown, PA. He preceded her in death on February 22, 2016.
Darlene was of the Christian Faith.
She was a seamstress for Organic Climbing in Philipsburg, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, Darlene was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Estright; a son, Melvin Estright, Jr.; and two sisters, Karen Hensal and Rita Coleman.
Darlene is survived by a daughter, Destiny D. Osiecki & her husband Ryan of Osceola Mills, PA; a son, Jacob J. Estright & his wife Nikki of Osceola Mills, PA; two sisters, Chestreann Bowman & her husband Scott of Osceola Mills, PA and Arlene Martin & her husband Rich of Osceola Mills, PA; three brothers, Edward Cowfer & his wife Karen of Osceola Mills, PA, Donald Cowfer & his wife April of Osceola Mills, PA, and Raymond Cowfer & his companion Sally Goss of Osceola Mills, PA; and four granddaughters, Callie Estright, Madalynn Selfridge, Zoey Barrett & Ashley Karchewski.
A funeral will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, at 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA. Pastor Scott Hartsock will officiate.
Interment will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Family and friends will receive guests on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
