Mr. Myers was my Music/Band teacher through my years at Philipsburg Junior High School from 1966-1969. Many memories were formed through those years. He was, by FAR, one of my favorite teachers. I was saddened to find he had passed. His memory will live on in my mind.

John liked to share the story about a teacher’s meeting where Walt stood up to ask a question and asked, “Am I out of line?” I think it was Mr. Kephart who said, “Only when you walk Walt.” All in fun. Those were the days.

especially Jill, our youngest. I will miss my chats with him when I would meet him when he was at the store or the Mo Valley YMCA, sitting in the car waiting in the parking lot. I was very fond of him. He was a very friendly person and easy to talk to. I know he is with his Savior.
