Loretta J. Muchinsky, 81, of Philipsburg, PA died on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Centre Care Rehab & Wellness in Bellefonte, PA.
Born on October 18, 1943 in Philipsburg, PA, Loretta was the daughter of the late Leo J. Muchinsky & Helen A. (Teodorowicz) Muchinsky.
She was a member of the SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Philipsburg, PA.
She was a retired Secretary for the Department of Agriculture at Penn State University.
Loretta was a 1961 graduate from Philipsburg-Osceola High School and she graduated from Business School.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Loretta is survived by a brother, Chester L. Muchinsky & his wife, Nancy of Palmyra, PA; a nephew, Lee Muchinsky & his wife Margo of Palmyra, PA; a niece, Renee Harris of Bradenton, Florida; two great-nieces, Elyssa and Marlee; and one great-nephew, Deric.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 400 South 4th St., Philipsburg, PA, with Rev. Matthias Rendon, OFM, celebrant.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be at the church Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 10:00 am until the funeral time.
