Mary A. Krause
Mary A. Krause, 84, of Houtzdale, PA, died on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Heritage Ridge Senior Living at Windy Hill in Philipsburg, PA.
Born on July 17, 1941, in New Millport, PA, Mary was the daughter of the late Ernest Schoening & Effie (Freeman) Schoening. She married Clarence W. Krause on August 3, 1959 in Hagerstown, MD. He survives at home.
Mary attended the Fountain of Life Church in Philipsburg, PA.
She was a homemaker.
Mary was a 1959 graduate from the former Cooper Township High School.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by two sisters, Rachael Evans and Ruby Nearhood; and two brothers, Kenneth Schoening and Robert Schoening.
In addition to her husband Clarence, Mary is survived by four sons, Edward L. Krause of Houtzdale, PA, Jeffrey A. Krause & his wife Melissa of Brisbin, PA, William R. Krause & his wife Barbara of Fernwood, PA, and Benjamin P. Krause & his wife Kristen of Osceola Mills, PA; five grandchildren, Brandon Krause / Mindy, Joshua Krause, Amanda Dugan, Matthew Krause / Julie, Kristen Kerfoot / Mike; and six great-grandchildren, Holden, Hayes, Harper, Emma, Heath, and Wesley.
There will be no funeral service or visitation.
