Sally Lou Kephart
Sally Lou Kephart, 74, of Sandy Ridge, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Ralph H. & E. Helen (Kanouff) Cartwright, born on June 6, 1939 in Philipsburg, PA. She married Richard W. Kephart on June 26, 1965 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Sandy Ridge, PA. He survives her at home.
Mrs. Kephart was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Sandy Ridge, PA where she was Secretary of the Church Sunday School and a member of the Faith United Methodist Church Dorcas Circle. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Mt. Top Fire Company in Sandy Ridge, PA.
She was a 1957 graduate of the former Philipsburg High School and she was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Along with her husband, Mrs. Kephart is survived by: a daughter, Shelley Reese & her husband J.P. of Sandy Ridge, PA; two sons, Richard W. “Rick” Kephart, Jr. & his wife Kathy of Kittanning, PA and Scott A. “Skip” Kephart & his wife Tracy of Sandy Ridge, PA; a sister, Bonnie Lee Johnson & her husband Harry of Sandy Ridge, PA; and a brother, Ralph E. (Tiny) Cartwright & his wife Joanne of Sandy Ridge, PA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Katie Lyn Reese, Shane Kephart, Kyle Reese & Haydn Kephart.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA, with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
Visitation will be Sunday 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
