Marlene Kenjora
Marlene (Winters) Kenjora, 81, of Osceola Mills (Ashland), PA, went to be with our Lord on May 13, 2025.
Born on June 20, 1943, in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lemoine and Martha (Greenland) Winters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rosalie Winters.
Marlene is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Kenjora) Thompson, her companion, (Daniel), and her children, Alicia and Marc Thompson. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Jenna, Joshua, Elyse, Allen, and Brennon.
She is survived by her sisters: Ann (Winters) Moroni and her husband Bob of Hendersonville, NC; their daughter Sherri Moroni-Baker (Benjamin) and son Adam; and their son Robert Moroni (Wendy) and son Zachary; Julie (Winters) Peterson of Arlington, WA, and her son Dustin Dillen (Megin) and their son, Caydin.
Marlene is also fondly remembered by her nieces, daughters of her late sister Rosalie; Michelle Reddington, Jennifer (Tullio) Wagner and her daughter Jessica and her son, Wolfie; Lori Reddington and her children Katrina and Ryan.
She is also remembered by her former spouse and father of her daughter, Bill Kenjora.
Marlene graduated from Philipsburg-Osceola High School in 1961. She worked for the U.S. Department of Justice in the Antitrust Division and later at Clearfield Cheese until its closing.
She had a remarkable talent for crafts, sewing, and cooking, and she took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home. Marlene had a generous heart and was always ready to prepare a meal or lend a hand to anyone in need. Known for her spirited nature and sense of humor, she brought joy and laughter to those around her.
Her kindness, warmth, and vibrant personality will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be at I.O.O.F Cemetery, Brisbin, PA
