Catherine Irene Kanour
Catherine Irene Kanour, 97, of Clearfield, PA, formerly of Chester Hill, died on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Mt. Lauren Nursing & Rehab Ctr. in Clearfield, PA.
Born on July 16, 1928 in Philipsburg, PA, Catherine was the daughter of the late James Williamson & Arlene (Dixon) Williamson. She married Harry B. Kanour, Sr. who preceded her in death on June 5, 1997.
Catherine was of the Christian Faith.
She had worked for Kanours Stationary and Office Supply.
In addition to her parents and husband, Catherine was preceded in death by two sisters, Violet Straka, June Yoder and a daughter in law Judith Rice.
Catherine is survived by a daughter Joy Ng & her husband Ken of Virginia; two sons, James M. Rice of Hawk Run, PA, and Harry Benjamin Kanour, Jr. & his wife Michelle, of Philipsburg, PA; a brother, James Williamson & his wife Eunine of Philipsburg, PA; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC at 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA. Rev. Dr. Mary Jo Bruinooge will officiate.
Burial will be at Centre Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 27 from 4:00 p.m. to funeral time at the funeral home.
