Mary Lou Johnston
Mary Lou Johnston, 76, of Philipsburg, PA died on Friday, January 9, 1015 at Windy Hill Village P.S.L in Philipsburg, PA.
Born on March 6, 1938 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Scott) Osewalt. She was married to Leroy E. Johnston, who preceded her in death on September 26, 1991.
Mrs. Johnston was a member of the St. Lawrence Episcopal Church in Osceola Mills, PA. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Amvets in Philipsburg, PA and the Fraternal order of the Eagles #1217 in Clearfield, PA. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by: seven sisters, Ruth Ann Stewart, Dorothy Nida, Hannah Osewalt, an infant sister Agnes Osewalt, Pearl Reeder, Gertrude Herbert and Geraldine Smith; two brothers, Clinton Osewalt and John Osewalt; and two granddaughters, Candy and Colette Rodkey.
Mrs. Johnston is survived by: a daughter, Shirley Ann Rodkey of Curwensville, PA; three sons, Dean Rodkey of Osceola Mills, PA, Keith Rodkey of Houtzdale, PA and Terry Rodkey of Philipsburg, PA; and two brothers, Donald Osewalt of Brooklyn, NY and Earl Osewalt of Sun City Center, FL. She is also survived by: five grandchildren, Erica, Deana, Derek, Jason and Terriann Rodkey; five great-grandchildren, Linaya, Amara, Anastyn, Brenton and Hayden; and numerous nieces & nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA; with Rev. Mark Melhorn officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
