Edward G. Hummel
Edward G. Hummel, 78, of Philipsburg, PA, died on Monday, February 19, 2024, at his home.
Born on November 11, 1945, in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Paul & Lilian (Kephart) Hummel. He married Lucretia A. Mayhew on September 15, 1990 in Philipsburg, PA; she survives at home.
Edward was of the Christian Faith.
He was a retired Truck Driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, four brothers, and a son-in-law.
In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by five daughters, Lisa M. Wise & her husband Gary of Philipsburg, PA, Mary A. Freeman & her husband Timothy of Tyrone, PA, Peggy S. Gray & her hsuband Jerry of Middletown DE, Rhonda J. Kormanik & her husband Raymond of Bellefonte, PA and Kathy J. Litzinger of Brisbin, PA; two step-daughters, Sherry Hoobler & her husband Niel of Stoneboro, PA and Diana Weber & her husband David of Philadelphia, PA; a step-son, Clifford Curley & his wife Jane of Philipsburg, PA; two sisters, Helen Bumbarger of Woodland, PA and Jeanie Long & her husband Robert of Herndon, PA; two brothers, Boyd A. Hummel of Clearfield, PA and Ross Wright & his wife Dawn of Woodland, PA; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA. Pastor Roy Hampton and Rev. W. Dean Krause will officiate.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
