John Patrick Hughes
John Patrick Hughes, 82, of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Heritage Ridge Senior Living at Windy Hill, Philipsburg, PA.
Born on December 21, 1943, in Philipsburg, PA, John was the son of the late John Richard Hughes & Genevieve R. (Semonsky) Hughes. He married Nancy June (Quick) Hughes on May 12, 1967 in Michigan. She preceded him in death on October 18, 2025.
John was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran. 
He retired from General Motors and had also donated his time at the Osceola Mills Food Bank.
John was a 1961 graduate from the P.O. High School.
In addition to his parents and wife, John was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Shields.
He is survived by two brothers, Thomas V. Hughes & his wife Ruth Anne of Philadelphia, PA, and James R. Hughes & his wife Susan of North East, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA. Rev. Father Jonathan Schmolt, celebrant.
Internment will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
There will be no visitation.
