Harold R. Hubler
Harold R. Hubler, 86, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
Born on May 31, 1929 in RD Morrisdale, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth R & Aleathia M. (Maguire) Hubler. He married the former Teresa Socash on January 27, 1950 in Philipsburg, PA; she survives at home.
Mr. Hubler was of the Christian Faith. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War He was a member of the Osceola Mills VFW #5020, the Philipsburg AMVETS #159 and a member of the Decatur Township Planning Commission.
He was an owner/operator of a number of former local businesses, including a logging company; H & T Coal Company and the D & L Diner which he had operated with his wife Teresa. Harold was currently the owner/operator of 53 Energies, RD Osceola Mills, PA.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hubler was preceded in death by: a daughter, Linda Rae Yebernetsky; and a brother, Calvin Hubler.
Along with his wife, he is survived by: four daughters, Diane M. Colley of Indiana, PA, Terrilee Millard & her husband Gerald of Philipsburg, PA, Danielle A. Bojalad of DuBois, PA and Melanie D. Pryde & her husband Chris of Osceola Mills, PA; a son, Rick H. Hubler & his wife Darlene of Osceola Mills, PA; and three sisters, Mary Askey & her husband Fred of Philipsburg, PA, Betty Merritt of RD Morrisdale, PA and Gertrude Ferguson of RD Morrisdale, PA. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Michelle Colley, Melissa Colley, Megan Colley, Bobby Yebernetsky & his wife Mandee, Heather Hayward & her husband Larry, Tyler Hubler & his fiancee Briana Wisor, Devin Millard, Justin Millard, Ryan Frank, Jalen Pryde, Mason Pryde and Lowman Pryde, three great-grandchildren, Lucas, Brook and Aubrey; and a son-in-law, Robert Yebernetsky of Ramey, PA.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 701 Lingle Street, Osceola Mills, PA, with Pastor Tina M. Hawkins and Deacon Dennis J. Socash officiating. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
