Russell A. Howe
Russell A. Howe, 75, of Morann, PA, died on Tuesday, May 21, 2924 at James E. VanZandt VA Medical Center in Altoona, PA.
Born on November 8, 1948 in Glen Richey, PA, he was the son of the late Jess & Genevieve I. (Grove) Howe. He married Sharon Kay Cartwright on July 14, 1973 in Hawk Run, PA; she preceded him in death on May 28, 2023.
Russell was a member of the Christian Faith. He was also a member of the Morann Club. And was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a retired Welder for UMI in Philipsburg, PA
Russell enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents and wife, Russell was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Kephart and Cathy Updike; and two brothers, Jesse Howe and William Howe.
He is survived by three sisters, Delores Litzinger of Clearfield, PA, Ruby Clark & her husband Raymond of Philipsburg, PA, and Sarah Conaway & her husband James of Milesburg, PA; a brother, Walter Howe & his wife Amy of Osceola Mills, PA; and numerous nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA. Pastor Doug Conway will officiate. Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
