Ronald Melvin Hosband
Ronald Melvin Hosband, 86, of Sandy Ridge, PA, died on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Cedar Wood.
Born on March 18, 1940, in Sandy Ridge, PA, Ronald was the son of the late Melvin C. Hosband & Dorothy V. (Cowher) Hosband. He married Lydia (Christenson) Hosband in 1969 in France. Lydia preceded Ronald in death in 2005.
Ronald was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Sandy Ridge, PA. He was also a member of MENSA. Ronald was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. 
He retired from the Air Force as a Chief Master Sargent in Electronics.
Ronald was a 1958 graduate from the P.O. High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lydia.
Ronald is survived by three sisters, Virginia Snyder of Sandy Ridge, PA, Eleanor Janke & her husband William of Woodbridge, VA, and Melody Sankey of Osceola Mills, PA; a brother, Levi E. Hosband & his wife Candida of Pottstown, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no viewing or funeral service.
Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, Osceola Mills is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia Fire Co. in Osceola Mills, PA, or the Mt. Top Fire Co. in Sandy Ridge, PA.
