James T. Holden
James T. Holden, 66 of Osceola Mills, PA passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the James E. VanZandt VA Medical Center in Altoona, PA.
Born on October 26, 1945 in Philipsburg, PA. He was the son of the late James T. Holden and Dorothy (Jones) Holden Taylor. He was formerly married to Mary Ellen (Robertson) Holden.
Mr. Holden was of the Presbyterian Faith. He was a Navy and Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War and he was a member of VFW Post # 5020 in Osceola Mills, PA, the American Legion, and the B.P.O.Elks in Philipsburg, PA.
He was a retired supervisor for the D.E.P. Mr. Holden graduated from Philipsburg-Osceola High School class of 1963.
In addition to his former wife; he is survived by two sons Matthew J. Holden of Nashville, TN and Ryan T. Holden of Frisco, CO; a sister Joni Holden of Columbus, OH; and two brothers Jeffrey N. Holden of Bellefonte, PA and Charles Holden and his wife Caroline of Columbus, OH.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA, with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating, with Military Honors accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard
There will be no visitation. Heath Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
