Connie F. (Hampton) Hemphill
Connie F. (Hampton) Hemphill, 82, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
Born on July 25, 1941, in RD Osceola Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Morris Hampton & Betty (Stone) Hampton Genevie. She married Raymond E. Hamphill, Jr. on November 5, 1966 in Chester Hill, PA; he preceded her in death on March 21, 2013.
Connie was a member of New Castle Community Church and New Castle Angels. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Breshears; two sons, Delmar E. Henry and Earl R. Hemphill; and three brothers, Derwood Stone, Stacey Hampton and Denver Hampton, Sr.
Connie is survived by a daughter, Rosalie A. Kephart & her husband Mark of Houtzdale, PA and Wanda L. Phillips & her husband Pastor Joseph Phillips of Osceola Mills, PA; a son Thomas W. Hemphill & his companion Beth of West Decatur, PA; a brother Wallace R. Hampton & his wife Shelly of Osceola Mills, PA; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Misty, Naomi, Chanel, Raymond, Leya and Shyanne; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the New Castle Community Church in (New Castle) Osceola Mills, PA. Pastor Joseph Phillips will officiate. Burial will be at the Sanborn Cemetery in Rural Houtzdale, PA.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral at the church.
