Donald A. Good
Donald A. Good, 66 of West Decatur, PA passed away on Thursday October 11, 2012 at his home.
He was the son of the late Alfred and Velma (Baughman) Good, born on August 21, 1946 in Decatur Township (New Castle), PA. He married Donna M. (Wise) Good on August 21, 1968 in Philipsburg, PA.
Mr. Good was of Christian Faith. He was a Army veteran of the Vietnam war, and served in the U.S. National Guard retiring after 34 years of service, He was a member of the American Legion in Philipsburg, PA. and a graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School class of 1964.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Alfred Good, Jr., and Duane Good.
Along with his wife, he is survived by: three sons Alan W. Good & his wife Debbie of West Decatur, PA, Shawn L. Good & his wife Lari of (Sanborn) RD Houtzdale, PA, and Bradley E. Good of West Decatur, PA; one sister Kathryn E. Couturiaux & her husband Patrick of Philipsburg, PA: one Brother Robert L Good of Brockway, PA; five grandchildren, Lisa Yingling, Ashley, Olivia, Karly, & Carsyn Good; and one great-grandchild Tierknee Yingling.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA with Pastor Donald Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Baughman Cemetery, (Sanborn) RD Houtzdale, PA.
Visitation will be Monday October 15, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Moshannon Valley Independent Honor Guard.
