Jeanne Teats Callahan
Darlene, John and remaining family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. So many memories that goes back to our childhood. Loved when your Dad would share stories of his time during World War II. Despite all that he went through as a POW, he was still proud of time spent serving his country. One also knew in talking with him, how much he loved and cherished his family. May peace and comfort be be with all of you.

John and Darlene, I didn’t know your dad personally, but from what I knew about him, he was a good and great man. Sorry for your loss

Our sympathy and thoughts are to all the family and friends of John T. Kovach. A kinder more loving man I’ve never met. John was a treasure , so warm and friendly. He will be missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing him. He loved unconditionally. Praying for comfort and peace at this time and the days to come.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
We are saddened to hear of the loss of Mr. Kovach. We have known him for many years and were always happy to see him at the Smolko family Christmas Eve dinner each year. He was family. He will be missed.
Our thanks to him for his service to this country. What a kind and courageous man he was.
To Darlene, Mike, John and All – know that you are in our prayers and time will lighten this burden.
God’s grace. We love you all, Jim and Donna

Darlene and John,
I am very sorry for your loss. Your Father’s happy spirit will be missed and we are all minus a ray of his sunshine. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of when our families got together on those warm summer Sundays at Duman Lake Park for picnics. We’d run around the park and watch the adults (who thought they could play softball) and coming to your house for the July 4th parade or Uncle John and you all coming to Colver for a Sunday visit. Your parents are together again and I’m sure they are smiling down at you both. Hold tight to your memories, I am sure your Dad left you many.
Fondly,
Your cousin,
Donna Jean

I will miss Uncle John, he was always a kind good person. Every time I had come back to PA and stpped and visited he was happy to see us and talk about many things. He was true Hero. I wish I could be there but my prayers are there for all of the family. I know he is with God and with everyone who was waiting for him to come home. God Bless him and all of you. – Carol ox

What a brave, caring, wonderful man, I know his family will miss him dearly. God bless you and help ease your grief. I am so proud that he is my great-uncle. I know my Grandfather, Michael Kovach, loved his siblings so much, and is delighted to see his dear brother once more.
