Ed was the only man I knew who could rock bib overalls. He was a great person and a great coworker. He will be missed by all of us at the dairy

I struggled for a while to come up with words for my brother-in-law, Ed (Uncle Buck) Facer. At 48 years old, he was taken from us too soon. He had the biggest heart, always there to help others. He would give his last dollar to someone in need. I’d also say that he was a great listener, always there to participate in a conversation and offer his unique and often counter view, even if just to stir things up. He was a comedian, quick witted, always ready with his brand of down to earth humor. He cared for his family, assisting his mother with groceries, surprise bills, or simply enabling her to enjoy life activities. He provided fatherly guidance to his nieces and nephews, despite having no kids of his own (or at least that we’re aware of). He offered vehicles, a place to stay, or numerous roasters (where and why did he have so many to give out?) to ease challenges faced by family members. His larger than life personality and heart leave a hole in all of us, perhaps bigger than even he was aware. He will be sorely missed.

My deepest sympathies for you all in your time of loss. My prayer is that Ed’s spirit continues to live on through everyone he touched with his wonderful kindness and loving, uplifting soul. May he continue to work through each of us in his grace, patience, and unconditional love.

Ed delivered to me that night….as he had for about a year…he first came up to the NY Metro area and we all said, “Is this real?” We found out, he was and embraced him! I have read so many testimonials that I am so happy he was the guy we saw….EVERY Night! Ed touched so many lives and he touched mine seeing him at 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning…he made a choice that would protect another and endanger himself….that is why we are all here but most don’t know it…I am very….very…humbled to have know him!
