Kenneth L. Eckley
Kenneth L. Eckley, 94, of Philipsburg, PA died on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Mt. Nittany Medical Ctr. in State College, PA.
Born on December 6, 1929 in Tyrone, PA, Kenneth was the son of the late Fredrick & Blanche (McFalls) Eckley. He married Delores I. (Brown) Eckley on February 19, 1954 in Osceola Mills, PA. She preceded him in death on October 4, 2003.
Kenneth was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was retired from Westvaco Paper Co. in Tyrone, PA.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters; and three brothers.
Kenneth is survived by two daughters, Linda Dixon & her husband Glenn of Osceola Mills, PA and Lisa Ferguson & her husband Larry of DuBois, PA; a son, James L. Eckley & his wife Vanessa of Plato, Missouri; a brother, Earnie Eckley of Tyrone, PA; seven grandchildren, Casey Paul, Fredrick Eckley, Shauna Phegley, Christopher Ferguson, Curtis Ferguson, Kayla Lucas, and Delores Lipchey; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
The funeral service will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC, 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills. Reverend Audra Krise will officiate.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA. Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
