Betty L. Duttry
Betty (Betsy) Leona Duttry, age 74, of Houtzdale passed away on May 13th, 2024.
Born September 22, 1949 in Blossburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Duttry and Madeline Cropp.
She is survived by her son Clayton (Julie) Duttry; siblings Penny (Bernie) T & Charles (Tammy) Cropp; niece Sis Newcomb; granddaughter Cayli (Ashton) Gill; 6 other grandchildren; great granddaughter Opal and 14 other great grandchildren.
Betsy loved & will be missed by many cousins, nieces & nephews.
She cared greatly for every person she met and never let anyone leave her home without a tight hug and a belly full of home-cooked food (and probably a take-away dish too). She loved to crochet, color, and cook. She was a loving mother & grandmother to many. It is difficult to list everyone as she made such an incredible impact.
She is preceded in death by her mother Madeline and father George; her siblings, Ronald Harper, Richard (Dick) Hopper, Wayne Hopper, Genevieve (Jenny) Nickerson. She will forever be missed.
There will be no funeral services, per her request. Celebration of Life plans are in progress. Her family will announce plans for gathering as soon as possible.
