Theodore James “Jim” Dixon
Theodore James “Jim” Dixon, 72, of Hyde, PA, died on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at his home.
Born on May 31, 1951, in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Theodore R. & Ruth Alice (Smith) Dixon. He married Katheleen J. Hyde on December 29, 2000 in Forrest, PA; she survives at home.
Theodore was of the Christian Faith.
He was a Retired Logger. And was a 1970 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School.
Theodore was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Jonathan Young; and two brothers, Joe Dixon and John Abner.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Tammy Wilt & her husband Russ of Avoca, NY and Rhonda Young & her companion Ernie Bullman, Jr. of Janesville, PA; a son, Jason Dixon & his companion Jenn Young of Houtzdale, PA; three sisters, Sara Weld & her husband Ed of Glenn Hope, PA, Margaret Dixon of Philipsburg, PA and Judy Patrick of Brisbin, PA; a brother, Allen Dixon & his wife Shirley of Osceola Mills, PA; seven grandchildren, Brittany Corrigan & her husband Harvey, Curtis Philips, Courtney Kessler & her husband Scott Kessler, Jr., Shawn Martin, Sephia Dotts & her husband Preston, Yeggar Young and Jayden Ruffner; five great-grandchildren; and his former wife, Linda Forbes.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA. Rev. Mark Mehorn will officiate.
Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
