Gerald J. “Jerry” Dipko
Gerald J. “Jerry” Dipko, 78, of Brisbin, PA died on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the home of his daughter, Wendy E. Dipko in Brisbin, PA.
Born on June 26, 1947 in Philipsburg, PA, Gerald was the son of the late Lawrence J. Dipko & Katherine (Slother) Dipko. He married Lyn Ann (Forbes) Dipko, in Osceola Mills on February 1, 1969. She preceded him in death on October 28, 1984.
Gerald was a member of the Christ the King Catholic Church in Houtzdale, PA.
He was a courier for Nittany Energy in Philipsburg, PA.
Gerald was a 1965 graduate from P.O. High School.
In addition to his parents and wife, Gerald was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard Dipko and Lawrence M. Dipko.
Gerald is survived by a daughter, Wendy E. Dipko of Brisbin, PA; two sons, Paul C. Dipko & his wife Jackie of Houtzdale, PA, and John W. Dipko & his wife Renae of Houtzdale, PA; a sister, Patricia Ralston of Brisbin, PA; eight grandchildren, Kody Dipko, Tanner Dipko, Hunter Dipko, Chloe Dipko, Olivia Dipko, Landon Dipko, Breydon Dipko, and Lyn Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Kynslee Dipko, Kendyl Dipko, and Evelynn Ibberson; and a sister-in-law, Henrietta “Dutchie” Dipko.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC at 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA 16666. Pastor Mark Melhorn will officiate.
Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Brisbin, PA.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. & on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
