Peter J. Crispell
Peter J. Crispell, 89, of Duncansville, PA and formerly of Philipsburg, PA died on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at UPMC Altoona Hospital.
Born on August 19, 1935, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Delbert H. & Helen E. (Jennings) Crispell. He married Margaret A. Crain on June 29, 1956, in Philipsburg, PA; she survives in Duncansville, PA.
Peter was of the Christian Faith.
He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Peter was the Owner-Operator of the former Pete’s Appliance Service in Philipsburg, PA. He had worked at the former Star Appliance in Houtzdale, PA prior to owning his own business at Pete’s Appliance Service. He was a 1954 graduate of the Philipsburg High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In addition to his wife, Peter is survived by a daughter Joanna L. McQuown & her husband Jeremiah of Ramey, PA; two sons, Jerry W. Crispell & his wife Denise of Tyrone, PA and Mark R. Crispell & his wife Wanda of Clearfield, PA; a brother, Joseph P. Crispell & his wife Cheryl of Philipsburg, PA; six grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA. Pastor Wayne Schaffer will officiate.
Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held Saturday from noon until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
