Gerald L. Bryan
Gerald L. Bryan, 84 of Osceola Mills, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Bryan was born to the late Thomas & Freda (Stonebraker) Bryan on June 19, 1928 in Osceola Mills, PA. He was married to Joann M. (Mathews) Bryan on February 28, 1953 in Osceola Mills, PA.
He was of the Christian Faith. Mr. Bryan was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and was retired from the former Rising Sons in Osceola Mills, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a grandson, Larry Josefik; an infant great-grandson, Trevor Hubler; two brothers, Ronald Bryan and Thomas Bryan, Jr.; and a sister Freda Walker.
Along with his wife, Mr. Bryan is survived by: three daughters, Joyce Franek of Drifting, PA, Denise Dillon of Philipsburg, PA and Delores Hudson of Osceola Mills, PA; two sisters, Betty Grossmer of Philadelphia, PA and Shirley Matier of Osceola Mills, PA; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA, with Rev. Donald Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Centre Cemetery in rural Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2012 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
