Dorothy M. Brocail
Dorothy M. Brocail, 90, of Philipsburg, formerly of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Heritage Ridge Senior Living at Windy Hill in Philipsburg, PA.
Born on November 28, 1934, in Philipsburg, PA, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Lee Kennedy & Anna M. (Hughes) Kennedy. She married Donald J. Brocail on August 23, 1952 in Osceola Mills. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2011.
Dorothy was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church.
She was a retired cook for the Osceola Mills Elementary School
Dorothy was a 1952 graduate from the former Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother, Charles R. Kennedy.
Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Cheryl “Cherie” Hrenko & her husband Patrick Hrenko, Sr. of Clearfield, PA and Melissa “Missy” Shaw of Chester Hill, Philipsburg, PA; seven grandchildren, Angel Zurawski & her husband Brent, Kelly Baney, Ronald Bryan, Donny Baney & his partner Amanda Rickard, Brandon Ramos & his wife Rebecca, Patrick Hrenko, Jr. & his wife Savannah, and Jessica Fahr & her husband Jeremy; eighteen great-grandchildren, Luke, Braelyn, Jocelyn, DJ, Caiden, Jordyn, Miranda, Paige, Persayus, Colden, Takoa, Hope, Camille, Mackenzie, Madison, Beckett, Sawyer, and Reagan; and one great-great grandson, Malaki.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church. Pastor Kelly Wian and Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes will officiate.
Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the church.
