Carole (Stewart) Ryen Bezilla
Carole (Stewart) Ryen Bezilla, 74 of Woodland, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Windy Hill Village P.S.L. in Philipsburg, PA.
Mrs. Bezilla was born to the late W. John & Jayne (Williams) Stewart on September 12, 1937 in Philipsburg, PA. She married William G. Bezilla on May 24, 1997 in Osceola Mills, PA.
She was a member of the Gethsemane United Church in Allport, PA. Mrs Bezilla retired in 1998 from Windy Hill Village as an L.P.N; she was also employed by the former General Cigar in Philipsburg, PA, the former Piper Aircraft in Quehanna, PA, and the former State College Manor. She graduated from the former Osceola Mills High School class of 1955 and from the Clearfield Vocational Technical School in 1984.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bezilla was preceded in death by her former husband John D. “Jack” Ryen; two sisters, Audrey Louise Stewart and Darla Koppenhaver; and a brother Steven Stewart.
Along with her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Shelia Sidelinger & her husband Geoffrey of Weedville, PA, Shelly Thompson & her husband Gregory of Pine Glen, PA, Stacey Koziar & her husband Brian of Barre, VT, and Victoria Gatto & her husband Robert of Ellwood City, PA; a step-daughter, Stacey Bezilla of Indiana, PA; a son, Vincent Ryen & his wife Wanda of Allport, PA; two step-sons, Dean Ryen & his wife Bessie of (Shilo) Woodland, PA and Brett Bezilla & his wife Brenda of Indiana, PA; a sister, Debra Bauman & her husband Roger of Morrisdale, PA; three brothers, Roger Stewart & his wife Gloria of Osceola Mills, PA, Dean Stewart & his wife Bonnie of Jonestown, PA, and Mark Stewart & his wife Sue of (Zion) Bellefonte, PA; 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2012 at the Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Allport, PA, with Rev. Heather Baker-McCallister & Rev. Dr. Mary Jo Bruinooge officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA and at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
