Carol Jean Baney
Carol Jean Baney, 78, of West Deacatur, PA went to be with the Lord at Mulberry Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Punxsutawney, PA on Monday, October 25, 2021.
Born on August 27, 1943 in Philipsburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mildred (Kearney) Herr. She married Kenneth L. Baney, Sr. on September 23, 1961 in Osceola Mills, PA, he survives at home.
She was a member of the Abundant Life Church in Philipsburg, PA.
Carol was retired from Charles Navasky and Company and was a 1961 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: two sisters, Alice Demko and Linda Swisher; and four brothers, James, Charles, Edward and Elmer Herr.
Along with her husband she is survived by: one son, Kenneth L. Baney, Jr. & his wife Jean Marie of West Decatur, PA; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA: with Rev. Michael D. Baney officiating. Burial will be at Summit Hill Cemetry in Morrisdale, PA.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to funeral time at the funeral home.
