June L. Bainey, 88, of Osceola Mills, PA, died on Monday, May 5, 2025 at the home of her daughter Debbie Bainey in Houtzdale, PA.
Born on June 15, 1936, in Philipsburg, PA, June was the daughter of the late Clarence Sharpless & Valeria (Price) Sharpless. She married George H. Bainey Sr. on June 8, 1953 in Philipsburg, PA. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1997.
June was of the Christian Faith.
She was a retired Care Nurse for Clear Care Hospice in Clearfield, PA.
June also had her GED.
In addition to her parents and husband, June was preceded in death by a son, George H. Bainey Jr.; a granddaughter, Heather Bainey; and a brother, Robert Sharpless.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Hemphill & her companion John Vroman of Osceola Mills, PA and Debra Bainey of Houtzdale, PA; three sons, Terry Bainey & his wife Barbie of Osceola Mills, PA, Tom L. Bainey & his wife Barb of Philipsburg, PA, and Jeff S. Bainey & his wife Connie of Osceola Mills, PA; a sister, Lois Bacher of Ramey, PA; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC at 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA. Rev. James R. Evilsizor will officiate.
Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will take place on Friday, May 9 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 10 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
