On February 7, 1970, Wally married the love of his life, Patricia V (Jarrett) Vaux, beginning a devoted partnership that spanned decades. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Vaux, at home, who stood by his side throughout their life together. Together they built a life centered on family, loyalty, and love.
He is also survived by his children: James Vaux of Osceola Mills; Kimberly Clarkson and her husband Neil of Smithmill, and Kelley Miller of Osceola Mills. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Jordon Miller, Seharra Vaux, Keegan Berg, Dylan Clarkson, and Danica Clarkson, and a cherished great-grandfather to Maliyah, Kasen, Theo, and Crue. He proudly served in the United States Army from November 1967 to November 1973.
He later retired from Glen-Gery Brick Yard, where he worked for over 30 years as a skilled machine mechanic, known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
Wally was loved by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his unmistakable humor—sometimes dark—paired with a true heart of gold. He loved his family more than anything, and they loved him just as deeply in return. The bonds he shared with each of his children and grandchildren were all different, yet equally special—so meaningful they are impossible to fully describe.
A wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Wally will be forever missed, but his love, laughter, and legacy will live on in all who were blessed to know him.
