William L. Yarger
William L. Yarger, 74, of Rochester, NY and formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester, NY.
Born on July 23, 1943 in West Decatur, PA he was the son of the late Wayne and Maude (Harry) Yarger.
He was of the Christian Faith.
William was retired from Rochester Products, was a Army Veteran of the Vietnam War
and was a 1961 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola High School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Wayne Yarger, Jr.
He is survived by: one daughter, Tricia A. Yarger & her husband Andy Hopkins of New York, NY; one son, Billy L. Yarger of Rochester, NY; one sister, Maxine Wright & her husband Bill of Palmyra, NY; and two grandchildren, Willow and Benjamin Yarger.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA: with Rev. Harold Harry officiating. Burial will be at the Sanborn Cemetery in RD Houtzdale, PA.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard at the cemetery.
