Ruth E. Lender
Ruth E. Lender, 49, of (Sanborn) Houtzdale, PA died on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at her home.
Born on April 15, 1966 in Suffern, NY, she was the daughter of Ruth E. (Beals) Huey of Houtzdale, PA and the late Herman T. Custred. She married Eugene R. Lender on November 14, 1987 in Philipsburg, PA; he preceded her in death on October 9, 2015.
Mrs. Lender was of the Christian Faith. She was a homemaker and earned her GED.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by: a son, Joshua R. Lender of Smoke Run, PA; a step-son, Mark Lender & his wife Miriam of Centreville, VA; a step-daughter, Kelly Eignor & her husband Eugene of Centreville, VA; two sisters, Annette Stiver & her husband Donald of LaJose, PA and Debra Fink & her husband Randy of New Millport, PA; a brother, Tom Custred & his wife Peggy of Hawk Run, PA; and four step-grandchildren, Ethan, Benjamin, Dulaney & Jackson.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA, with Pastor Mark Melhorn officiating. Burial will be at the Sanborn Cemetery in (Sanborn) Houtzdale, PA.
Friends will be received on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
