William J. “Bill” Kerin
William J. “Bill” Kerin, 67, of Bigler, died Friday, July 15, 2022, at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
William was born on December 11, 1954, in Philipsburg, a son of the late James Michael Kerin and Bertha Mae (McKissick) Kerin.
He was married on December 15, 1973, in Osceola Mills, to the former Gail A. Knepp, who preceded him in death on March 17, 2022.
During his working career, William had been employed as a truck driver. He had been employed with Paul Cantolina Trucking Co., Morrisdale, prior to his retirement.
He was a Life Member of the BJW Fire Company, Woodland.
William was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Kerin and Thomas Kerin, Sr.; and a nephew, Thomas Kerin, Jr., in addition to his parents and wife, Gail.
He is survived by a daughter, Angela M. Hager and her husband, Joseph Hager, Sr., of Mantua, Ohio; a son, Robert J. Kerin, and his wife, Christy, of Elizabethtown, (Pa.); five grandchildren: Joseph (Jr.), Ericka, Elizabeth, Michael and Matthew; a sister, Linda Jean Kephart and her husband, Mark, of Bainbridge, (Pa.); one brother, Michael J. Kerin and his wife, Sharon, of State College; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bigler Fire Hall on Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 4 until 6 pm. The family encourages everyone who knew Bill to come out for the celebration. If you are unable to come to the service; take a moment to enjoy a memory of Bill.
