Floyd W. Winters – Guestbook Entries
Dan Winters
Just want to acknowledge those of you who did sign the guestbook. We certainly appreciate your kind words and sharing a few memories. Without a doubt dad touched a lot of people over the years. He is missed.
I have compared his death to “flying away” which was one of his favorite songs… “I’ll Fly Away”. He got sick and tired of being sick and tired and so he finally flew away on that brisk Nov. morning through the bright blue skies to a place of rest and peace in the Lord’s presence. That was also the song we concluded the service with.
Again, thank you all for your thoughts and prayers

I would like to thank Floyd for his influence, guidance and impact he had on the development of the young man David, that I am fortunate to know today. I am sure David is a better person because of Floyd’s involvement and guiding hand.
The Morris Family, Kylertown
Floyd was such a wonder Godly man who always had words of wisdom for me and my family. He loved his wife, and his kids and was always talking about them when he would see me out and about. Floyd will be missed but knowing that he is with our Lord and Savior is our blessed assurance of what will become of us who persevere. Someday when we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be!!! When we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory!!! May peace and comfort be with brothers and sisters in the Lord.
